Industry Subject Matter Expert
With over 35 years’ experience in public/private sector emergency response operations, I began my career in public service in 1989 as a state of Michigan certified firefighter, medical first responder, rescue diver, and sworn police officer.
After ten years of service, I left the public sector and worked for over 25 years as a state and federal government armed security contractor, FCC licensed communications technician, environmental and disaster response manager, and have responded to over 200 natural/manmade FEMA/USACE disaster missions throughout the United States.
Throughout my career, I have acquired dozens of nationally and internationally accredited certifications, a registered expert witness, and a key instructor to public and private emergency responders.
